GRAPHIC DESIGN

The graphic designs below are for Indy Car Racecars. The Taylor Swift Themed Car, the first on this page, was used for a race weekend in Detroit in which Taylor was performing the same evening. There were several production challenges. The original suit design caused the driver to get too hot due to the size of the graphic required on the front and back for the neon appearance. There were 2 sets of suits, 4 suits total. One set is embroidered and the second is a heat-pressed graphic that allows more air to come through the suit. The heat-pressed versions of the suits were worn during the race weekend. The shading and appearance of neon signage worked wonderfully in digital format or smaller print sizes however, the glowing neon design was especially difficult to manipulate on the large-scale car design. Working with The Chip Ganassi Racing Design and Wrap Team we took every last minute together to find the correct appearance for the car.
The second car features artist, Brantley Gilbert, and was driven by Sage Karam in the Indianapolis 500.
